The petition will be assessed by German Nationality law experts and sent to the German Interior Ministry, which is the government branch responsible for decrees and policies regarding German citizenship.<\/p>\n<p>The petition will cover the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.artikel116.com\/en\/welcome\/the-consular-registration-hurdle\/\">Issues with the Consular Registration<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.artikel116.com\/en\/welcome\/the-nationality-law-of-1913\/\">Nationality Law of 1913<\/a>, which granted former citizens the right to re-acquire the German citizenship.<\/li>\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.artikel116.com\/en\/welcome\/deprived-by-the-nazi-regime\/\">Nazi Decree of 1935<\/a> which revoked the right granted in 1913<\/li>\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.artikel116.com\/en\/welcome\/equality\/\">principle of equality<\/a> given that many other groups have been protected by the Article 116.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<p>As legal fees are expensive, we count on everyone&#8217;s help to raise enough funds to cover our expenses.
